After that, don’t forget to click, SAVE CHANGES.

Reading Settings

Set the encoding pages and feeds to UTF-8.

You can play around with other settings.

Privacy Settings

Check the box with “I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers”.

Permalink Settings

This is very important settings in your blog. ?You don’t want your permalink to be ugly don’t you.

Although there are many advice on how to set the most pretty permalink, I still believe that simplicity is the best.

Put your permalink settings to Custom Structure and make the structure as /%postname%/.

Now, click save. If the page refresh and asking you to update your .htaccess file manually, just go to your cpanel or ftp and change the permission to 777 and re-save the settings.

Then you can change back the permission for .htaccess to whatever you think safe. I used to leave it “as is” after savings the settings.

Now, until next time.

Warm regards,

Pangeran Wiguan
