I Sold My First eBook

This is my first ebook.

Laporan Mini ebaY

It was written in Malay. Bahasa Malaysia.
Hence if you understand this language, don’t hesitate to get this mini report.

This is the first ebook, well not coming into ebook standard yet, but it’s in pdf format! :mrgreen:
It’s more to a report like we do in high school.
It is indeed a report of my experiment.
A successful experiment while desperately need money when my paypal fund become negative! 

In this report, I reveal how I manage to survive an ebaY fee, disputes from my buyers when the thing I’ve sent lost during shipping. :cry: 

This was how the story was.

It was a Christmas season in December of 2008.  It was a cold winter at the most of the western country while it was only a heavy raining season here at my place, Malaysia.

Some dads and moms of a child were too busy to get a day off not to say they have time to go shopping to buy the Christmas present.  This is the most tome ebaY seller make more sale, because of these busy parent.

Indeed, I have more sale than usual.
Then I shiped the items.
This was my second months of becoming an ebaY seller, so I didn’t know what were the risks involved.

Then the day before Christmas, buyers started complaining that the item did not arrive yet.
I started to feel uneasy.
I feel that there will be something wrong.

Week gone after the Christmas, the item did not arrive yet.
Hence during that time, I’ve refunded most of the buyers but there are still a lot more buyers I am not yet refunding them their money!

So I’m making excuses, this and that.
Well, guess they know their rights as disputes from paypal coming over attacking me and pulling me down as I was a criminal in a police officer’s hands.

I was sad.  I feel sorrow.  How am I gonna survive this situation.  Then I see national georaphic channel.  Someone was bitten by a deadly poisoned snake.  Make me surprise, the anti-venin(The medicine use to cure the patient bitten by snake.) was made from that snake’s poison itself! 8O  

This hitting my brain and leave a BIG effect in my mind.

The snake gave the person trouble.
Ironicly, only the snake can safe that person!

Then I made an inference to myself.

ebaY gave me trouble.
Then, only ebaY itself can safe me! 

Then after I was back stable. I atleast have $100 in my accont at one time now. <== That’s BIG amount for Malaysia you know. The trade rate were $1 = MYR3.6. SO I guess you know how its value affects on us Malaysian.

Then I read a thread in a Malaysian internet marketing forum titled.

All Ebooks IS A LIE!

Well, indeed some.

But I want to correct this mind set.

So that’s how this mini report were made.

Hot Laporan Mini ebaY Tanpa Modal!

So I made a selling thread there at the same forum.
For the first hour, it was like I’m was selling a flower at the butchers stall.
Ignored.

Then I decided to give it away for 3 reviewers that have 500 post to that forum members.
Well, still… only 2 ~ 3 people coming in.

It’s alright, I said to myself to comfort myself.
Nothing to lose.

Then to my surprise, I was bombarded with and email notification of that thread replies just right before I was going back  home from my office.

During that time I am not yet put my paypal address there and just giving a chance for review copy. Not selling it yet.  Then I was bombarded with PMs(Private messages) asking my paypal address that they will pay it right now.

I gave them.

Some other still waited patiently.  But then maybe the people PMed me before told everyone, then I was bombarded again with PMs.

Too many to reply, I edit my first post and put my paypal address there.

I recieved payment, paypal emailed me using the buyers email, I just reply to that email.

No autoresponder.  I didn’t do this on commercial purpose at that time.  Just to make some money while proving some ebook are worth to buy.

But as the ebook is written in a high school student report manners, one of my ebaY guru, you can find his personal blog at http://matzis.com/ and read it there if you can understand Malays, he advised me to improve the ebook into the real book standard.  Give it more value to the money paid for it.  Well I guess he’s right.

So this will be upgrade, and the price will be “upgraded” too of course.
