Google Chrome Review

Saturday September 6th 2008

Have you been using the new browser the Google Chrome?

Google Chrome

I did.

Here’s what I think of it.

What I like?

  • It have a sleek design that caught my intention.
  • It fast!
  • I think I like it.

What I dislike?

  • It doesn’t have Google Toolbar.
  • Cannot copy paste easily - Try to copy an article and paste it in other application like MS Words. You can’t. :-(
  • Cannot change the search engine instantly like Firefox 3 search engine.
  • Cannot install plugin. - Too new, guess have to wait for several months before it going to release officially. The one available for download now is a BETA (Test) version.

My Review

The installation going smoothly and FAST. Faster than Mozilla Firefox. But to beat Firefox, I think not yet. Maybe after the official release. It have a sleek design that make your eyes feels like you’re looking at a luxury/premium browser. It’s take some minutes for me to find out the function. It really easy to use. And there are no advance settings. But I have a hard time using it to work. I mean, for example, I was working on a new post where I need to copy pasting some article, phrases, or sentences into other application such as Dreamweaver. It don’t work. You can try it. Even to copy the URL from the address bar is a hard thing. So, I need to look back and using Mozilla Firefox.

My Recommendation

I like to use this one. I believe that this will become the most popular browser in the future, just like it’s brother the Google Search.

So, stay up to date and install it on your own.
But oops, it still only for Windows User.
