It’s not that bad actually.  But you should have your own unique identity.

Find a theme that is free for this moment.  Remember, in WordPress the key term is “wordpress theme”.  Hence you can find with keywords such as “free wordpress theme”, “beautiful wordpress theme” and maybe “premium wordpress theme”.  But the key term “premium” would bring the meaning that you have to pay for it. ;)

Okay, now let’s go to the first step.  Finding Your WordPress theme.  Oh, by the way, I am also a wordpress theme designer.  You can check out my WordPress theme site at , WPThemestudio.com. :)

After you’ve find what you like, now let’s install it.

So, you’ve watch the video above on how to install your WordPress theme.  Well, actually that’s the manual way on how to install WordPress theme. The video above is not made by me. I just find it at youtube and I think no point for me to make new video explaining the same thing.

At this moment, I’m using WordPress 2.8.6.  From version 2.6 onward actually WordPress have integrating auto install for the theme from WordPress theme repository.

The steps are simple.

  1. Login to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Select Appearance.
  3. Click Add New Theme.
  4. To upload theme from your hard drive, use the Upload.
  5. To make things easier. You can browse the WordPress theme repository and direct install just by a click.

Happy theme hunting! :)
