Paypal – What Is That?

Paypal is a payment processor for transaction online. It is not a bank. It is the most popular payment processor used world wide for example in the biggest auction site on internet, ebay.
While becoming the most popular, it is a heavy responsible for paypal to make their site as secure as possible.
But be as secure as possible means, they will become very fussy, and this turns off many people. Especially seller, or merchant. But they don’t have a choice, but to use what their customer want to pay with.
Yes, paypal buyer’s protection policy is very high to standard.
We can just open a dispute and chargeback our money if we find that the seller is dishonest.
But this system also have it cons.
Nowadays, the scammers are among the buyers.
They dispute even they have the item.
And the seller who don’t have tracking number with them are easily cheated, scammed, and paypal are behind these scam artist because the seller don’t have prove that the item have arrive at the buyer’s place.
But, we can overcome that problems by following the standard like providing tracking number, etc.
The Importance of Debit Card

A debit card functions are almost similar with a credit cards. We can use them for shopping at the shopping mall or even shopping on the internet from the comfort of our home or office.
The differences are, we must deposit an amount of money inside our debit card account before we can start spending it, meaning, we pay first and spend it later. While credit card, we spend first and pay later. We can use the credit card anyhow we want but not exeeding the credit limit that have been setup for us. At the end of the month, we will get monthly statement and bill to pay. Beside that, applying for a debit card is much more easier than a credit card. For example, Public Bank Berhad allow individuals above 12 years old to apply a debit card under their own name without any hassle. While for credit card, we must 18 above and have a good credit score with income at least RM 1,500.00 per month which is NOT possible for a 12 years old to have it under their own name.
As an internet marketeer, we should, and we MUST have paypal account for recieving and sending money. To create paypal account, we need a credit card or a debit card to verify our identity. Paypal is an almost secure payment processor and the most popular too. So we have no choice but follow the popurarity for our convenient.

So, the first thing to do is get yourself a debit card, or credit card if you are above the minimum requirement.

When I said to other people around me that I am making money online. They stare at me as I am promoting a get rich quick scheme. When I tell them that one of my income stream that need less technical and skill is from blogging, they want to try it at that very moment. Then I am blasted with a lot of “how to” questions.
Hence, I make this series of post to guide a very new people who want to start their blogging career seriously.
I write all the posts based on my own personal experience.
I know that you might hear people screaming at their very loudest voice to you, this is not nescessary.
But, let me tell you this.
They don’t want to see you success!
So here is a guide from a good friend of you.
Please follow it faithfully.

Get Latest Update From Your Favourite Blog

Have you ever found a website with good content that are worth spending time to read it, and you feel that you don’t want to miss their next post from now on?
I do.
If you do, I bet if there’s email subscription form on their blog you will fill your email and click “Subscribe”.
Well, how if they don’t have it?
Lame isn’t it?
The truth is there are still so many bloggers with good content do not take email subscription as an important element in their blog.
For the bloggers, what you can do now is go to Feedburner, burn your feed and start your email subscription service!
While for readers? It is not very polite to “order” the blogmaster to do so unless they are close to you. Worst, they ignore your good suggestion.
So, this is how we can do to get email subscription for ourself.

I Can’t Recent Video Plugin

Just recently, I tried to make a plugin that shows latest video that inserted into custom field.
I am using the code below to grab the value of the assigned custom key.
<?php $video = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'Video', true); ?>
But when it attached to dynamic area, it can’t grab the key value.
But when I directly paste the code on home.php, it works!
WordPress 2.8
Jun 11th
Just so suddenly! WordPress 2.8 official version was released. I notice the update when logging in into my localhost wordpress blog, mean for theme making. 
So, I simply click Please update now. and then choose automatic update.
The upgrading process run smoothly and then it run the update database wizard and all done.
The user interface do not change… a lot…
It still like WordPress 2.7 interface.
But in Wordpress 2.8, we can decide how many columns we want the widget in our dashboard.
In WordPress 2.8, there are Theme browser, something that functioning like plugin browser that was introduced in WordPress 2.7, just, this is for themes instead for plugins.
Other function, I am not yet find out…

What I am Doing Now

Hi, now I am creating one wordpress theme. This is based on hooks.
This urge come after I realized how ugly the existing design of this blog.
So I decide to make one new theme that is beautiful.
Sadly I am very bad when it is about creativity. :(
I am a bad graphic designer.
Someone without creativity is hardly creating a beautiful master piece! 
So, to no shame, I browse the internet for inspiration to create my new wordpress theme for PANGERAN.ORG.
Firefox Is On Top Rank – Battle of The Browser

You can click the image above to enlarge it. The image above show statistic data I get from Google analytics on PANGERAN.ORG.
The top ranking browser use by visitors to my website is Firefox! With more than 64% users.
It followed by Internet Explorer, but just contributing to around 18% only.
Third place is Google Chrome, my favourite browser because it is so light and fast!
By checking my other websites, I found out that that they have similar browser ranking!
Meaning?
Firefox have won the “Battle of The Browser” so far…
