In my past post here » Research: Using CMS To Build Social Community Site , I was looking for suitable CMS to built my own Social Community/Networking sites.
Well, between drupal and joomla the winner was Joomla.
But however, I have plans to use drupal for my other projects in the near future.

There are inner competition too inside the Joomla CMS.
Choosing the right extension to build the sites to the direction of social community/networking site. From hours of searching and reading the articles published in the internet, I found out two major and popular extension. They were;

Research: Using CMS To Build Social Community Site

Right now, I’m looking forward to build a social community/social networking site using open source CMS. Open source CMS is free pre-writtern website hence which mean almost everybody can build their own social community sites for any purpose whether it was for educational, kliks, group, hobby, politics parties, and etc for a cheap or almost free.
There are four candidates in my mind.
They are;
- WordPress
- WordPress Multi User(MU) ( ? )
- Joomla 1.5.x
- Drupal 6.x
